Mosaic tiles have been used for thousands of years and originated in Mesopotamia in the 3rd millennium BC. They are classified as small tiles that come on a mesh backing sheet and come in a huge variety of colours, textures and materials. Used appropriately, and paired with complementary larger tiles, mosaic tiles are a great way to create impact and add another dimension to a space.

M2 Tiles’ Perth showroom specialises in sourcing the world’s most beautiful mosaic tiles from countries like Spain, Italy and Morocco and includes premium brands such as Bisazza. Whether you’re looking for a pop of colour or prefer a natural, muted palette, we stock a huge variety of mosaic tiles in porcelain, glass, ceramic and natural stone like travertine and marble.

Mosaic tiles come in an almost endless array of different shapes, sizes and patterns. Varieties include penny round, herringbone, diamond, finger, chevron, hexagonal, subway and basic square right through to intricate floral designs. With so many options to choose from, mosaic tiles can be used to complement every interior design scheme. Bold colours, statement patterns and damask styles are ideal for complementing Moroccan, Tudor or eclectic spaces whilst soft, natural stone varieties can be used to add earthy, textural elements to industrial, Scandi or coastal themes.

At M2 Tiles, we have been serving Perth’s specialist mosaic tile market for 30 years so can help you make the perfect selections. We encourage you to bring your plans or sketches into our Claremont showroom so we can assess your space and ensure the size and style of mosaics you are considering will deliver the stunning results you’re after. Not only limited to indoor use, mosaic tiles can be used to add colour, texture and movement to courtyards, verandas, pools, outdoor kitchens, fire places and just about anywhere else you can think of. Originally a tiler, Peter has expert knowledge of how different materials perform in all manner of conditions so you can rest assured your choices will be functional, as well as beautiful.
